of - Mary L. Young |

| Mary L. "Vena" Young, 47, of the 7400 block of Oakmount Drive, died July 19, 2005, in Norfolk. Born in Savannah, Ga., she graduated from Savannah High School. She worked in housekeeping at Econo Lodge for three months and was a member of Bank Street Memorial Baptist. Survivors include two daughters, La Tosha Young and Jessica Young, both of Norfolk; mother, Modell Whitehead; stepfather, Jessie James Lewis; two sisters, Ernstine Winchester of Suitland, Md. and Jacqueline Graham of Norfolk; two brothers, Bennie Lee Graham of Norfolk and John Williams of Texas; and nieces, nephews, cousins, five aunts, six uncles and many friends. She was predeceased by her father, Roscoe Young. A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Bank Street Memorial Baptist, 7036 Chesapeake Blvd., Norfolk, by the Rev. William Dixon. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery, Savannah, Ga. Mrs. Mary Young’s remains will lie in repose at the church at 9:30 a.m. The procession will assemble at 10 a.m. at the residence. Heritage Funeral Home, 1010 E. Brambleton Ave., Norfolk, is in charge. |

| Kenneth Lee Wilson, 40, of the 1300 block of Commerce Avenue, departed this life to begin his heavenly rest on June 16, 2005. Mr. Wilson was a native of Chesapeake, Virginia and former member of Holy Temple Church. Mr. Wilson was funeralized on June 21, 2005 in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Services. |
